Free Year School – for kindergarten/school

Do you need an assistant teacher for a kindergarten group of 5-7 year olds or 1st grade, in order to support existing teachers in the transition to learning the Estonian language?

We are launching a pilot project in 2024. A 3-month (January to March) program in which students from a school or university come to support the teacher in working with a group of children aged 5-7 years in a school or kindergarten. The student is engaged in independent learning, and in the meantime will help your teachers in the transition from Russian to Estonian. After this, the student finds motivation again and returns to study. We believe the pilot program will be successful and will create a program that will span the entire school year.

The pilot project is supported by the Tallinn Department of Education and the City of Tallinn, and is essentially supported by the Ministry of Education and Research.
